About Me
Teddy was born and raised in Portageville, MO in New Madrid County. It’s a small, rural, close-knit community in Missouri’s Bootheel. He was raised by both his parents and grandparents, who taught him the importance of hard work and farming.
He graduated from Portageville High School in 2005 and proceeded to SEMO for college, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration – Entrepreneurship. He later graduated from the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center’s Paramedic program and obtained my state Paramedic license. After graduating he returned to his roots in New Madrid County, working out of Portageville’s ambulance location, and currently serves as New Madrid County Ambulance District’s Assistant Administrator.
He is married to his beautiful bride, Katelyn Ivie, who is also a licensed Realtor with Ritter Real Estate. They got their licenses together on the same day! They have four children – Blake, Max, Hazel, and Olive. They also have an English Bulldog named Meatball and a cat named Ginger. Their family enjoys working out in our garage gym, being outdoors, hunting, listening to music, and gardening.
Teddy has always been passionate about business, which is why he obtained his Business degree in college. However, he is more passionate about truly helping others, which is why he transitioned to becoming a Paramedic. He has been successful in merging those two passions in his current role and knows his experience will transition directly to his real estate clients. They will receive professional business service as well as someone who always has their best interest in mind.
