Originally from Bunkie, Louisiana, Joe has proudly called Cape Girardeau home for nearly three decades, living here longer than in his hometown. Joe’s professional journey includes 34 years in higher education, with 29 of those years spent as both a professor and administrator at Southeast Missouri State University. This experience has honed his communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to guide others through complex decisions. Family is at the center of Joe’s life. He and his wife, Kelley, have raised three accomplished daughters in Cape Girardeau: Allie, Jacie, and Carly.
